Shotnix Capture
Built for daily Mac work
Area, window, fullscreen, previous region, scrolling capture, and OCR text extraction are all available from global shortcuts.
Add arrows, shapes, text, highlighter strokes, blur, pixelation, numbered markers, and crops in a focused native editor.
Copy, save, edit, pin, close, or drag the quick access overlay directly into Finder, Slack, or another app.
Export PNG, JPEG, or WebP, auto-copy, auto-save, launch at login, and browse your capture history locally.
Native rhythm
Shotnix keeps the post-capture choices close instead of forcing every screenshot through the same save dialog.
Free and open source
Shotnix is 100% free and open source. Download the beta, inspect the code, fork it, or use it for real work.

xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Shotnix.appIf the command is blocked, give Terminal Full Disk Access in System Settings > Privacy & Security, then run it again.
